Thinking about a sprocket swap? See exactly what it does to your gearing, your rpm and your speed, before you spend a dollar. This is the first of the Motozmo rider tools, free like everything here.
Motozmo Sprocket and Gear Ratio Calculator - motozmo.com
How it works: gear ratio is rear teeth divided by front teeth. A bigger ratio means shorter gearing, a smaller ratio means taller gearing. The rpm and speed figures scale from the one reading you give it, so use a speed and rpm you have actually seen on your own bike, in the same gear, for both setups.
